New York City FC finish pre-season on a high note with a win.
Andrea Pirlo scored his first New York City FC goal and Mix Diskerud headed in the winning goal to lift NYCFC over Reykjavik FC 2-1.
David Villa sent a pass to the top of the box and Pirlo fired a laser into the back of the net in the 21st minute.
Ronald Matarrita lofted a pretty cross into the box which Diskerud headed into the back of the net in the 84th minute.
NYCFC played in a 4-3-3 formation and dominated possession for most of the match.
